14k yellow gold natural carved coral pin with folding bail which could also be worn as a pendant. The pierced and carved coral has two birds standing on a fish or snake with scales and a radish or vegetable. The custom frame is made to fit the carving. The frame has a brushed finish.
The pin and folding hinge on bail are not gold. The frame and bail are 14k gold. The pendant with bail measures 1 5/8" long or 1 3/8" long without bail by 1 1/4" wide. The piece weighs 7.72 dwt., and dates from the 1940-50s. Amazing!
