Outstanding Sterling silver Fish Serving Set, 2-piece, including fish server 12" and fish serving fork 9" attributed to Whiting, retailed by Ford Tupper. This set features a three dimensional cast Pheasant handle with leaves, vines, and insect on the leaf, which then becomes a detailed Pheasant leg handle and pheasant claw that attaches to the serving areas. The serving areas feature superb brite-cut Japanesque style detailing including bamboo and flowers. It is monogrammed (see photo) and dated 1873 and is in excellent condition. Museum quality art silver.
