Remarkable coin silver 4-piece tea set with leaf and bead border. This set is hallmarked by Marquand and Co of New York circa 1834-1839 who later became Ball Black and Co. The large size pieces have a pedestal base and fancy flower finial. This set includes:
1 - Tea Pot: Measures 9 5/8" tall x 10 3/4" and weighs 26.87 troy ounces.
1 - Sugar Bowl with Lid (Tiffany hallmarks): Measures 8 1/2" tall x 7 3/4" and weighs 20.73 troy ounces.
1 - Creamer: Measures 7 5/8" tall x 7 1/2" and weighs 17.55 troy ounces.
1 - Waste (extra large): Measures 5 3/8" tall x 7" in diameter and weighs 15.85 troy ounces.
This set has a vintage scrolly monogram (see photos) and is in good vintage condition. Magnificent!
