Wonderful English Estate sterling silver cigarette box with engine turned lid made in London circa 1923 (maker unknown; possibly made by Lambert and Co.)
On the lid, it has an engraved lion creature with "Pax in Bello". It also features presentation to "Captain George Usborne, R.N. 30.3.1925" (see photos). This piece measures 5 3/8" (l) x 3 1/2" (w) x 2" (h) and is weighted. This piece is being offered as-is as does not completely close, has some dents, and has gotten wet with base expanded and has lines in wood. Terrific piece!
