Early Georgian - English Silver

Incredible Georgian English large sterling silver footed basket with swing handle featuring a hand pierced body, gorgeous ribbons and swags, rosettes, and shell detailing, stamped for London, 1772, by Andrew Fogelberg. It measures 15 3/4" l x 12" w x 13" to top of handle (5" tall to rim). It weighs 34.2 troy ounces. This is a perfect bride's basket or fruit basket. It is not monogrammed and is in good vintage condition with some minor old repairs. Truly superb!
