English sterling salver tray made by TH, IC = Thomas Hannam John
Crouch II of London. It is from the Georgian period with date mark for
1805. It is footed and has a gadroon border. There is a beautiful
vintage script monogram in the center (see photo). There is also a later
inscription dated April 11, 1942 on the underside, likely a wedding gift
for a World War II couple. The tray measures 1 1/8&quot tall x 8 7/8&quot
diameter and weighs 10.85 ozt. A wonderful early piece!
