This adorable sterling child&apos s bowl with underplate was made by McChesney Co. McChesney was one of the original founders of the Kerr Company of Newark who began his own company in 1921. The bowl and underplate are acid-etched with the poem " The unseen Playmate" by Robert Louis Stevenson. There are also acid-etched children and little fairies. It is monogrammed " Peter Blair Schneidau" , and on the bottom of the the plate there is an inscription that says " From his Godfather Albert J. Wright, Dec. 1928" . It also has a #W7T5 mark, and the measurements for the bowl are 2 3/8" tall, 5 1/4" in diameter, and it weighs 6.8 ozt. The plate measures 5/8" tall, 6 1/2" in diameter, and it weighs 4.3 ozt. The pieces are in excellent condition.
