Remarkable sterling silver cigarette case / box with green and black enamel and wood interior marked #105 31609 (unmarked; maker unknown). This piece measures 5 1/2" (l) x 3 1/4" (w) x 1 1/2" (h) and weighs 9.8 troy ounces (weighed with wood inside).


It is monogrammed on the top and has an inscription on the front that reads, "you always think of others and we love to think of you, Otis - Pittsburgh Office, 1924" (see photos). It is in good estate condition as shown, with some minor dings and wear to the wood as expected with age. Terrific piece!
