Charming Gorham child's cup with elephant handle marked #897. This cup measures 3 3/4" x 4" and weighs a heavy 7.6 troy ounces. It is engraved "Brent Wickliffe Fenet" (see photos). Brent was a memeber of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Her grandfather was a member of the U.S. Congress from Louisiana, her great-grandfather was Governor of Louisiana, and her great-great-grandfather was Governor of Kentucky. It is in good estate condition with some dents. Wonderful piece!
