LA PAGLIA BY INTERNATIONAL: Designer Alphonse La Paglia (1907-1953) was a Sicilian-born silversmith who studied and trained with Georg Jensen. He designed this special line with Danish Modernism influences for International in 1952, for only 1 year. La Paglia hollowware is an excellent complement to the International flatware pattern " Spring Glory" as well as Georg Jensen and other Danish Modernism patterns.
International sterling silver goblet designed by La Paglia. The piece is marked with #189-50. It measures 6 1/2" tall x 3 1/4" and weighs 6.89 ozt. It is not monogrammed and is in excellent condition.
