Superb Athenic by Gorham sterling silver inkwell with
stand and glass insert. It has a wonderful cast Art Nouveau floral poppy motif
and engraved presentation “ A Token of Confidence and Esteem” , dated 1891-1905.
It is marked #B2342. The inkwell with stand measures 11 3/4" x 6 1/2"
x 2 ¼” tall and weighs 23.12 ozt. This pattern is reminiscent of Martele' by
Gorham.
It is in excellent vintage condition. A work of art!
