Remarkable Joseph Heinrichs chafing dish with stand with burner and undertray, with wonderful figural 3-D rabbits. This iconic circa 1904 piece highlights Joseph Heinrichs' exceptional Arts and Crafts design and workmanship, featuring a striking three-dimensional rabbit motif, use of many different materials, and hand hammering. The pieces are made with copper, sterling silver, bronze, and wood (handle/finial). The interior of dish appears to be silver lined.
This piece measures 16" wide (to end of handle) x 11" high, and the undertray measures 15 1/2". The pieces are not monogrammed and are in good estate condition as shown in the photos, with some wear to the wood as expected with age, with the tray having some minor dings. Absolutely extraordinary!
