Exceptional Italian Sterling silver Mid-Century Modern Slow Drink Jug with satin finish and gold-wahshed interior by De Vecchi, Milano, Italy. It measures 10&quot in height x 3 3/4&quot W x 5&quot D. This piece is numbered, 28/99. Only 99 of this style pitcher were made. 
The silversmith workshop, Atelier De Vecchi, was founded by Piero De Vecchi in 1935. A sculpturer and engraver, at a young age he participated in Futurism which shared the constant research of the dynamism that he transmitted in his productions. In 1962 his son Gabriele, succeeded his father at the running of the company. His research in kinetic and programmed art resulted in a collection of slow drink jugs: &quot the water sings with the silver, it simulates the running of a stream...&quot .

It is not monogrammed and is in excellent condition.  Weight: 21.6 troy ounces. A work of art.   SKU#1351.
