This magnificent oval sterling tray was made by Tiffany Co. featuring a large detailed acid etched wreath with full figure winged cherubs and flowers. The tray also has a pierced border of flowers and lattice work. It has elaborate cast lion feet with flowers and scrollwork. It has a scrolly vintage monogram in the center, possibly "MHR". It's stamped with a block "M" date letter for 1873-91 and #5745/8756. The measurements for the tray are 1 1/2" tall, 14" long by 10 1/2" wide, and weighs 30.0 ozt.
The detailing is magnificent. The winged cherubs appear to be flying and wrapping a wreath of roses with ribbon. The motif is so precious. It has a pierced, ornate rim featuring intricate lattice work and flowers. A work of art! SKU#0152.
