Kettle on Stand

Remarkable sterling silver kettle on stand by Jones, Shreve Brown Co. This piece was made in Boston, MA, circa 1855 - 1858 and marked "Pure Coin". This piece features a fluted melon shaped kettle with three dimensional fruit as the finial and the stand has cast leaf and cast shell feet. This piece measures 13 1/2" tall (to handle) x 10 1/2" (to spout) and weighs 56.3 troy ounces. It is not monogrammed and is in good vintage condition. Marvelous!
