Inspired by the sky above on a cold winter night, this pair of beautiful 18 karat gold plated tea-light holders bring some starlight magic into the home at Christmas time. A pattern of star cut outs across the gold surface reveals the flickering candlelight within creating sparkling and mesmerising patterns.
With the skill of a true craftsman, designer Sanne Lund Traberg carefully creates all her Christmas Collectible decorations by hand-cutting paper with a scalpel before reworking the shape in metal. This gives them a graphic and meticulous line which is the essence of modern Scandinavian design.
The two tea-light holders are skillfully crafted from stainless steel which is then electroplated with 18 karat gold in one of Georg Jensen’s own workshops in Denmark.
