Victorian 14k yellow gold pin featuring a large piece of American gold vein quartz circa 1870's. Likely California gold rush. The stone has a beautiful natural pattern with quite a bit of gold.


The pin measures 1 3/8" by 1". The stone measures about 28mm x 20mm. The pin stem is not gold (common for durability). The frame is decorated with twisted textured and smooth design. The piece weighs 5.7 dwt. Captivating!
