Chrysanthemum (c1880) Tiffany's luxurious Chrysanthemum silver was designed in 1880 by Charles Grosjean. With its flowing curves, swirling vegetation, meandering tendrils, and exotic blossoming flowers, Chrysanthemum is characteristic of The Tiffany Style or Art Nouveau, as the naturalistic style is now commonly known. The rich and graceful flowering motifs of Chrysanthemum were undoubtedly influenced by founder Louis Comfort Tiffany. They make Chrysanthemum the most sumptuous of any American pattern.

This piece features a stunning chrysanthemum motif that flows down the handle and meets the beautifully pierced serving area. It is not monogrammed on the handle and is beautifully pierced with a 3-letter monogram on the blade. It is in excellent condition.
