The Olympian pattern, which was introduced by Tiffany Co. in 1878, is the most elaborate and complex of all Tiffany flatware designs. Each piece of Olympian is designed to illustrate a well-known story of Classical mythology. The subjects vary with the size of the handles on the different pieces. 


Extraordinary sterling silver Punch Ladle measuring 15" in the pattern Olympian by Tiffany and Co. The handle of this piece features the second motif in this pattern, which is Hebe, the cup bearer of the gods, surrounded by wine jars and vine and watched over by the eagle of Jove. The reverse features wine vessel, barley and horn with Jupiter crowned with olive wreath on the heel. This piece features a stunning double spout bowl as well as a button on the handle. It is not monogrammed and is in excellent condition.
