Stunning sterling silver Ice Tong measuring 6" (when closed together) in the pattern Vine by Tiffany and Co. Vine is a muilti-motif pattern circa 1872 and has become very scarce on the market. This server features a daisy motif on the handle that leads to the masterfully crafted serving area which includes a beautifully pierced bowl and a finely detailed chicken claw. This piece is featured on page 197 in the "Tiffany Silver Flatware 1845-1905: When Dining Was an Art" by William P Hood Jr with Rosalyn Berlin and Edward Wawrynek. It is monogrammed (monos vary) and is in excellent condition.
