10k Yellow Gold Large Victorian Opal Ring with Seed Pearls (#J4790)
Large 10k yellow gold Victorian ring with an opal, seed pearls, and two rows of green paste stones. The opal measures about 8mm x 6mm and has green play of color. The twenty seed pearls measure about 1mm, and the yellowish-green stones measure about 1.5mm.
The ring fits a size 7 1/4 finger and weighs 2.5 dwt. It dates from the 1880s. There is one replacement green stone that looks more like emerald color, see at 2:00. Gorgeous piece!
