12k yellow gold ring featuring a large oval cabochon cut Australian opal. The genuine natural opal weighs 4.82 carats and measures about 18mm x 11mm. The opal has white body color with primarily pink and green play of color. The ring fits a size 5.75 finger and weighs 2.64 dwt. It dates from the 1950s and tests about 12k. The opal is freshly polished and there are four rebuilt prongs. Lovely!
