13k Yellow Gold Victorian Diamond and Seed Pearl Startburst Brooch Pin (#J7437)
13k yellow gold Victorian seed pearl and diamond starburst pin. The pin measures 1 1/8" in diameter. There are about forty-eight tiny seed pearls measuring about 1mm-2mm. The seed pearls are cream to grey in color. There are nine chunky European cut diamonds measuring about 1.5mm to 2mm. There is a folding bail to be worn as a pendant. The folding bail loop is getting thin.
The pin weighs 2.88dwt and dates from the 1890s. It is unmarked and tests 13k which is not unusual for the period. Terrific!
