14k White Gold 2.37 Carat Genuine Natural Umbalite Garnet Diamond Ring (#J7565)
14k white gold garnet and diamond ring featuring a raspberry colored umbalite garnet weighing 2.37 carats. The emerald cut garnet measures about 8mm x 6.3mm. There are sixteen round brilliant cut genuine earth mined diamonds measuring about 1.9mm and weighing about .45cts total.
The ring fits a size 6.75 finger, weighs 2.66 dwt., and is contemporary. There are four new prongs holding the garnet. Gorgeous!
Umbalite
Garnet is a close relative of rhodolite garnet and typically displays a
lighter, more purplish or pinkish hue than average rhodolite. It was first
sourced from the Umba region of Tanzania, from which it takes its name. Since
then, garnets with similar coloration have been found in other regions, and the
term Umbalite is now used more generally for garnets exhibiting particularly
appealing tones that are primarily in the pink-to-purple range.
