Exquisite antique Art Nouveau sterling silver overlay on clear heavy glass inkwell, measuring 3 1/2" in diameter. This beautiful globular inkwell features intricate floral decoration with chrysanthemum or daisy blossoms, flowing leaves, and graceful scrolling foliage extending onto the domed lid. A wonderful example of Art Nouveau craftsmanship. It is not hallmarked, marked with #2 Fine Silver. It is not monogrammed. There is some damage to two flower petals and some scratches on the glass, as shown in the photos.
