Outstanding Chinese 90% silver round box with dragon and cherry blossoms motif (maker unknown). This box measures 2 tall x 3" and weighs 4.8 troy ounces. It has an inscription on the underside "Gymkhana October 1897 IVX Regiment Ladies Nomination Race Won By Mrs. Palmer" (see photos). It is in good estate condition. Remarkable!
