The academic nature in which designer Antione Heller looked to the past for inspiration also stems from the Beaux Arts movement. Cluny takes its name and inspiration from a real place with historical significance. This is a Multi Motif pattern,named for the gardens surrounding the Hotel de Cluny in Paris, a medieval stone mansion built in the Middle Ages in 1485 in the Gothic style. It was richly decorated and filled with collections devoted to the arts.
