Alexander Johnston and William Cafe
Outstanding English Georgian sterling silver candlestick pair made in London, circa 1758. One was made by Alexander Johnston, and the other one was made by William Cafe. The pieces feature rococo shells and an engraved family crest (see photos).
The candlesticks measure 91/4" tall x 4 1/4" and together weigh 35.4 troy ounces. They are in good estate condition as shown in the photos. Terrific!
