Superb museum quality Victorian Egyptian Revival partial gilt figural 5-piece Romano-Greco Dessert Service made by Elkington and Co in Birmingham in the year 1885. This set includes:

1 Candelabrum, 4-light with trefoil shape base, 21 3/4" tall with 8" base. Weight: 144.7 troy ounces.

4 Fruit Stands with removable pressed cut glass bowls, 7 1/4" tall without glass, (8 1/2" tall with glass). Weight: 30 troy ounces each.

The pieces have finely detailed 3-D Egyptian seated sphynx at the base, lion paw feet, and central columns in the form of finely detailed amphora vases.

It is monogrammed on the base (see photo) and is in excellent museum quality condition. Incredible set!
