Genuine Natural Bohemian Garnet Pin Pendant Dated 1889-1914 w/ 14k Bail (#J7405)
Gilt jeweler's brass Bohemian garnet pin with a folding 14k yellow gold bail to also wear as a pendant. The piece has round rose cut garnets in a rosette or snowflake design. It measures 1" in diameter or just over 1 1/8" long with bail. It is engraved "1889 Clara T. Burd 1914" (see photos), and was likely a 25th anniversary gift. The pin and bail look to be added later and there is some lead solder by the pin. It weighs 3.00 dwt. Beautiful!
