Incredible 14k Genuine Natural Black White Agate Stone Cameo Earrings (#J5511)
A fine pair of 14k yellow gold Victorian stone cameo earrings. The earrings feature a pair of black and white banded agate stone carved cameos set in a large pear shape with applied etruscan gold work, and each accented with five seed pearls and a freshwater pearl drop.
The carving is high relief and detailed. The cameos measure about 16mm x 12mm. The seed pearls measure about 1.5mm, and the freshwater drops measure about 5mm. The earrings measure 2" long with hook and 1" wide. The pair weighs 7.93 dwt. They date from the 1890's with new wire hooks. Amazing!
Note: There is a spot of lead solder on the loop holding the wire hook on one earring, an old repair.
