John Wendt and Augustus Rogers
Fabulous John Wendt and Augustus Rogers coin silver 3-piece tea set marked #402 made in Boston in 1850-1859. It was retailed by Bigelow Bros and Kennard. The set is octagonal shape with each panel in a hand engraved frame with bright-cut flowers and scrollwork. This set includes:
1 - Tea / Coffee Pot: Measures 9&quot tall x 8 3/4&quot and weighs 30.54 troy ounces.
1 - Sugar Bowl (with lid): Measures 6 3/8&quot tall x 7 1/8&quot and weighs 20.36 troy ounces.
1 - Creamer: Measures 4 3/8&quot tall x 5 1/2&quot and weighs 11.36 troy ounces.
This set has a vintage monogram (see photos) and is in excellent condition. Incredible set!
