This exceptional figural Art Nouveau multi-motif pattern was
made in 16 different elaborate motifs, each handle depicting cherubs engaged in
food-related activities. Silver magazine featured a 9 page article about the
Labors of Cupid pattern in their May/June 2001 edition, which identified all of
the motifs. This wonderfully complex pattern is set upon pierced handles and is
finished on the front and the reverse in fine detail. This estate set was made
in the last 40 years.
This is a rare opportunity - sets in this pattern have
become exceedingly scarce.
