Superb exceedingly rare Martele' by Gorham .9584 sterling silver flat handle Individual Fish Knife 8 1/4" with a subtle hand hammered finish and flowers.
Martele' was Gorham's most expensive and most desirable silver. The Martele' pieces also have higher silver content than standard .925 sterling silver silver. When all pieces were then being machine made, Gorham brought together in their most talented silversmiths and opened one department to make silver Martele' by hand.
It is monogrammed, as shown, and is in excellent vintage condition. Museum quality.
