This flatware designed by Henning Koppel for Georg Jensen in the 1960's was given as a prize. Henning Koppel was a Danish artist and designer who attracted attention for his work with jewelry. In 1945 he made contact with Georg Jensen in Denmark and started a collaboration which lasted until the end of his life. His work was abstract and sculptural which was unlike anything else on the market at the time. With flowing and organic designs in all of his work, including jewelry, hollowware and silver flatware patters, he earned a reputations of being a leader of Danish craftsmanship.
