The Olympian pattern, which was introduced by Tiffany Co. in 1878, is the most elaborate and complex of all Tiffany flatware designs. Each piece of Olympian is designed to illustrate a well-known story of Classical mythology. The subjects vary with the size of the handles on the different pieces.


Stunning sterling silver Pastry Server measuring 10 3/4" in the pattern Olympian by Tiffany and Co. The handle of this piece features the twelfth motif in this pattern, which is Bacchus and on the reverse is amphora, thyrsus, pipes, etc. This piece has a hollow handle and features an all sterling spade serving area. It is monogrammed on the reverse (see photo) and is in excellent condition.
