The Olympian pattern, which was introduced by Tiffany Co. in 1878, is the most elaborate and complex of all Tiffany flatware designs. Each piece of Olympian is designed to illustrate a well-known story of Classical mythology. The subjects vary with the size of the handles on the different pieces.


Stunning sterling silver Pea Spoon measuring 9" in the pattern Olympian by Tiffany and Co. The handle of this piece features the fourth motif in this pattern, which is Venus, born of the sea, being drawn into her shell by dolphins guided by Cupid. The back features emblems of love. This piece has a beautifully pierced serving area. It is monogrammed (see photo) and is in excellent condition.
