The Olympian pattern, which was introduced by Tiffany Co. in 1878, is the most elaborate and complex of all Tiffany flatware designs. Each piece of Olympian is designed to illustrate a well-known story of Classical mythology. The subjects vary with the size of the handles on the different pieces. 

Stunning sterling silver Saratoga Chip Server in the pattern Olympian by Tiffany and Co.  The handle of this piece features the fifth motif in this pattern, which is Orpheus, in search of his wife Eurydice, charming all those around him with the playing of his lyre. The reverse features male and female heads, lyre, and laurel. The piece features a stunning pierced serving bowl. It is not monogrammed and is in excellent condition.
