Sterling handwrought pendant made by Bjarne Axness, employee at the Kalo silver shop in Illinois. Unmarked. The pendant features an oval black onyx cabochon with a beaded border and pierced frame. The pendant measures almost 2” long including the bail or 1 1/2" long without bail and almost 1" wide. It weighs 5.16 dwt. Circa 1909-1940s. Purchased from Bjarne's grandson. Wonderful!
