Sterling handwrought pin made by Bjarne Axness, employee at the Kalo silver shop in Illinois. Marked: Sterling Hand Wrought Kalo 128. The pin features four pierced and engraved acorn with oak leaves. There is a scalloped border and two layers with solid back. The pin measures 2 1/8" diameter and weighs 17.27 dwt. Circa 1909-1940s. Purchased from Bjarne's grandson. Lovely!
